With our basic French vocabulary, the front of house staff were VERY helpful and the check-in was seamless. A full explanation of facilities was provided, and we even got ushered to our room. The room came with a large terrace overlooking the back garden - more than we were expecting. The breakfast was undoubtedly one of the best we've seen since travelling France - a great selection of fresh breads, pastries, cheeses and delicatessen meat selection, just to mention a few. There's also the option of the main restaurant or bistro on site.

Room overlooking the garden The food in the restaurant was superb Staff friendly welcoming and prompt in problem solving After a long cycle ride lovely to have a pool and jacuzzi to relax in No use of plastic and items in bedroom were refillable . Water machine in corridor to fill glass carafe bottles in the room Gardens were well tended and lovely to walk in wilder herb garden at the rear

Friendly staff, swift and pleasant reception / check-in process, receptionist takes you to your room and explains everything (friendly and very efficiently). Two restaurants on site, one Michelin-listed and a bistrot that serves outstanding food (same chef I assume!). Nice swimming pool.

Great, very clean hotel in the heart of Cancale seaside just 10 min drive from the city. Historic design, very nice bathroom (that French limestone!), and a very good Michelen Guide marked restaurant onsite which was a very pleasant surprise. Great location for visiting all the tourist places around
