With our basic French vocabulary, the front of house staff were VERY helpful and the check-in was seamless. A full explanation of facilities was provided, and we even got ushered to our room. The room came with a large terrace overlooking the back garden - more than we were expecting. The breakfast was undoubtedly one of the best we've seen since travelling France - a great selection of fresh breads, pastries, cheeses and delicatessen meat selection, just to mention a few. There's also the option of the main restaurant or bistro on site.

Historic design, very nice bathroom (that French limestone!), and a very good Michelen Guide marked restaurant onsite which was a very pleasant surprise. Great location for visiting all the tourist places around
